Our Winter Storytime Schedule begins on Monday! Please feel free to drop in, since registration is not required.

Mother Goose on the Loose Ages birth - 15 months
Wednesdays: 9:30 am & 10:30 am (Jan 18 - Feb 29, except 1/25)

Little Steps Ages 15 months - 2 ½ years

Mondays: 9:30 am & 10:30 am (Jan 9 - Feb 13)

Big Steps Ages 2 ½ - 3 ½ years

Fridays: 10:30 am (Jan 20 - Feb 24)

Preschool Storytime Ages 3 ½ - 5 ½ years

Tuesdays: 10:30 am (Jan 17 - Apr 17, except 4/3)

Wednesdays: 2:00 pm (Jan 18 - Apr 18, except 4/4)

New Children's Librarian

Hi! My name is Carrie and I'm the new Children's Librarian at Radnor Library. I just started at the end of December and will be working with Miss Carlson at the Children's Desk. I will also be leading the Big Steps and Preschool Storytimes.

Some of my favorite books are A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett and The Sound of Colors: A Journey of the Imagination by Jimmy Liao.

I look forward to meeting some Radnor families at storytime, upcoming events, and around the library. Please stop by and introduce yourself any time!

Today is my last day at Radnor Memorial Library. I'm so thankful that Dorothy Carlson hired me five years ago while I was still a library student. She guided me and was a tremendous mentor.

I have come to love all my wonderful, hardworking colleagues. And I especially love those who have come into the library seeking help with a title, enjoyed storytimes, and participated in our programs.

Change is never easy. I'm not one for long speeches. So I'll just say thanks so much to each of you who have touched my life. I hope I've helped a few wee ones love books just a bit more and brought some joy into your life. I know what I've gained is so much more!

Please welcome the new librarian (yet to be hired) with welcome arms and a big smile.

Monkeys in the House - The Radnor Library House

John Hadfield had a few tricks up his sleeve when he brought a barrel of monkey laughs to Radnor Memorial Library on Oct. 15th. More than 100 children and adults were treated to his singing, dancing, jokes, juggling and magic act. Thanks John!

Miss Chris came to Radnor Library for the first of three sessions for Preschool Music and Movement and we couldn't believe that nearly 100 people filled the Winsor Room! We love Miss Chris' enthusiasm, her love of children's librarianship and her vast talent. Two more sessions at the library with Miss Chris.
