Our Pals say so-long for now




Thanks to the People at PALs for reading for another great year!! Miss Carlson said she sees a marked improvement in reading levels in the children that participate in this great program!! The program gives children the chance to build reading confidence.

Another great start for PALS



Put together a couple of dogs, a rabbit, guinea pig and some kids and the end result is PALS for reading. Children hone their reading skills while the animals listen to cool stories. Radnor has three more sessions for the reading group.

It's a Dog's Life




On Dec. 8th you could say Radnor Library went to the dogs - three Labs and a big 'ol Bassett Hound (plus a cute guiena pig). The last PALS for Reading session was a great sucess with 12 children reading books to animals in order to strengthen reading skills.

Check out some of the critters who helped out on November 10 with the PALs for reading session. Children read to a guinea pig, 2 labs, and a chihuahua. The idea behind PALs for reading is to build kids reading confidence.

A Real Pal!




Around 16 area kids read to specially trained animals in a program called PALs for reading. The idea behind the PALs for Reading is to allow kids to build reading confidence. This is the first of several sessions. Specially trained animals included a guinea pig, and three dogs.

A good tail!

PALS for Reading is in its 4th successful year at Radnor. Our last reading for the year occurred on On April 21, 2009. Specially selected children read to trained therapy animals to practice reading skills. Confidences levels increase along with their reading skills and the animals gets lots and lots of love and hear a great story too. Check it out below. PALS for Reading!


PALS for Reading is in its 4th successful year at Radnor. On October 18th around 20 specially selected children read to trained therapy animals to practice reading. Children's confidences levels increase along with their reading skills and the animals gets lots and lots of love.
