Miss Chris Rockin' It @ Radnor Library

Miss Chris came to Radnor Library for the first of three sessions for Preschool Music and Movement and we couldn't believe that nearly 100 people filled the Winsor Room! We love Miss Chris' enthusiasm, her love of children's librarianship and her vast talent. Two more sessions at the library with Miss Chris.

Music and Movement Classes Commence

The first of four Music and Movement classes began on Monday. Ray Verna led the group of about 33 children plus 35 caregivers with singing, movement and lots of enthusiasm. Check out a portion of the class

Ray Verna, who heads our Music and Movement program, said his farewell to Radnor Library for now. His sessions brought lots of fun, enthusiasm music and fun to the children's department.

We had our last session with Music and Movement and we are sad to see Mr. Ray and his popular program end for now. Hopefully, he will be back in the spring. Catch a snippet of his fun program incorporating, song, books, dance, listening, marching and more.

Music and Movement makes NEWS!!

Music and Movment Class landed in the Philadelphia Inquirer on January 11, 2010! You can see how much fun we have. Oh, the kids seem to be having fun too! Join us in January on Mondays at 10:30 a.m. in the Winsor Room!

Music and Movement is back

Ray Verna, kid music expert, is back for another round of Music and Movement at Radnor Library on Monday's in January. The program runs from 10:30 to 11 a.m. in the Winsor Room. More than 30 kids plus caregivers attended for great fun as we sang everyone's favorite, Twinkle-Twinkle, and Read Chicka-Chicka Boom-Boom, plus a whole lot more. Check out the video:

Movin' on

Ray Verna did it again! In three sessions, more than 200 kids and adults sang, heard stories and moved and grooved to Radnor's Music and Movement class. Check out a bit of the class. Mr. Ray will be back in the spring!

Music And Movement Part I

He's Back! Yes, Ray Verna, fresh from Sing Along on Wendy's Porch, returned to Radnor Library to help facilitate the popular Music and Movement program! Ray Verna, our resident Kid Guru, led our July 14th Tuesday night special program of movement and music. Kids learned to listen, really listen. They sang songs, danced, marched and generally rocked the house. Check out the video!
