Made every excuse in the book for the table wobbling (poor construction and needs work) the floor moving under my feet (who is tapping their feet so) the windows rattling (big gust of wind). Never occurred that we experienced a real earthquake!!

That is an excellent idea to display books about Earthquakes. Now it a good time to teach young children about them.
