Egg-Citing Storytime
Thanks to Adult Reference Librarian Pam Sedor who brought Ella Fitzgerald and Patsy Cline to the last of the Spring session Preshool Storytimes. Each child who wished, pet the fancy birds.We were fortunate that Patsy and Ella cooperated and did not make poo on our rug! The kids listened to stories and songs about chickens and ended the hour with a craft. Original music provided by Garage Band. Pam's chickens live in a coop in her back yard and she often brings in fresh eggs for the library staff.

Thank you for inviting me and Ella and Patsy to your storytime finale!
I loved being there with you and the children. We loved hearing you tell stories and we had fun singing the chicken song with you! In addition to being a super children's librarian, you are a talented videographer, too! Keep up the good work, Ms. Abbe. I hope you will invite me and the "girls" to storytime next spring!
