Newbery Honor Author wins over Audiences

Gary Schmidt, author of Trouble, Wednesday Wars, Lizzy Bright and the Buckminster Boy, among others spoke to the 6th and 7th graders at Radnor Middle School on April 16. Later that night, Radnor Community had a chance to hear a great storyteller muse on his writings, his experiences with readers and other topics. He later signed books for audience members. After his talk, Board Member, Mark Monjin presented Schmidt with a rare Shakespeare book! Thanks to the Friends of the Library for sponsoring this event. Original music by Dennis Parrish
