On January 13th Radnor Children's Department hosted an informational session on preparing your child for Kindergarten. Ricky Pfeifer, Delaware County Coordinator, presented the workshop to twenty-five Radnor residents. Pfeifer spoke about the effects of kindergarten transition on the family and "How do I know if my child is ready for Kindergarten," among other topics.
In addition to the packet provided by Pfeifer, Radnor Library armed attendees with substantive information including admission requirements from Radnor Public School and The Agnes Irwin School.

.............Thank you for giving me the opportunity to reach out to your families and to distribute Pennsylvania's Promise for Children materials on how to prepare one's child for kindergarten. The additional resources you supplied to the parents on literacy far exceeded my expectations and certainly helped the parents in their search on readiness and transition issues. I hope to be able to offer this workshop again next year. It was a pleasure to share the evening with you!
