Star Wars Stormed Radnor Library
Three Storm Troopers, Jawa and Boba Fett made a dramatic entrance at the Radnor Library's Star Wars Program on November 21st. More than 40 children heard a book on the wall, and were treated to Wayne Dickason's massive Star Wars collection and knowledge. (Thanks Wayne!!) But the highlight of the event occurred when members of the 501 Garrison Carida wowed kids and parents alike. Each child went home with prizes provided by the 501 and the troop donated a Star Wars book to our library. Check it out. And thanks to Jewel for his original music!!!

Snakes Alive!!
Nearly 150 people were wowed when Jungle John and his menagerie of reptilian friends came to Radnor Library on Nov. 7. Of course, John had to put a Madagascar hissing cockroach in his mouth and pretend to eat it!! We also saw a snapping turtle and discovered why it is endangered, saw snakes, lizards, and a real alligator! Jungle John also brings a wellth of knowledge about the critters with him as well! Thanks to Lou Brotman for his original music.Sunday, November 8, 2009
Spooky Good Times at Radnor Library
On Halloween Day about 40 kids and parents assembled at the library for a frightfully good time. We paraded around the library, heard scary stories, sang Monstrous songs, played pin the hat on the witch, ate yummy cupcakes baked by "The Cat in the Hat" aka Miss Carlson. We also played a bean bag game and ended with a spooky spider craft. Check it out. Thanks to Jewel for his great music.
