Talk with the Animals!

On January 24th Lynne Grim of Safari Party brought a venerable cornucopia of wild and unusual animals to an audience nearly 250 Radnor community members. Grim explained the importance of treating animals with respect. Her presentation was wrought with hilarity for adults, while kids were entertained with the likes of creepy crawlers, a hairless rat, and a great, big, gigantic python and much, much more. RMS Day of Service at the Library

A big thanks to Radnor Middle School sixth grade students Emory Wolff and Spencer Deroos (bottom) and seventh grader Dylan Cuff 7th who made awesome volunteers on Martin Luther King Day. Thanks guys!

Wimpy Kids converge at Radnor

Just in time for the third installment of Jeff Kinney's Diary of a Wimpy Kid's The Last Straw, 25 kids tried not get the cheese touch, competed in a trivia contest, created a do it yourself diary and enjoyed Twinkies. Original music provided by my good pal Lou Brotman

The ABC's of our Kindergarten Workshop

On January 13th Radnor Children's Department hosted an informational session on preparing your child for Kindergarten. Ricky Pfeifer, Delaware County Coordinator, presented the workshop to twenty-five Radnor residents. Pfeifer spoke about the effects of kindergarten transition on the family and "How do I know if my child is ready for Kindergarten," among other topics.





In addition to the packet provided by Pfeifer, Radnor Library armed attendees with substantive information including admission requirements from Radnor Public School and The Agnes Irwin School.
